Microsoft Update "January Patch Day": New Patch versions available
The installation of the Microsoft Update "January Patch-Day" of January 4, 2018 has resulted in it no longer being possible to start some EPLAN products afterwards. All products that use the EPLAN License Manager or the EPLAN License Client were affected. In the meantime Microsoft has made updated versions of these available which make starting of the EPLAN products possible again.

In the meantime Microsoft has made updated versions of these available which make starting of the EPLAN products possible again.
You can use the update function of your operating system to install the updated patches. The corrected versions should now be available to you here. If these are not displayed directly, you alternatively have the possibility to download the patches suitable for your operating system from the Microsoft Website.

*Windows 10 1709: Microsoft has made the correction available with KB4073291, but not yet officially documented in the Knowledge Base article. The Microsoft Update catalog however specifies that Patch KB4056892 has been replaced by Patch KB 4073291. This patch is only for x86 edition of Windows 10.
